Eat the cake, take the trip

I spent 2 weeks with the most beautiful people in the most beautiful country with BBT! To say this trip to Egypt was life changing is an understatement. 

Egypt was always on my bucket list of places to visit for the immense history and unique structures. During this trip, we were able to visit many temples and sites (who doesn’t want to ride a camel by the pyramids?!) that take your breath away with the best tour guide I have ever experienced. The people of Egypt are so welcoming and make you feel right at home. I also celebrated my birthday while on the trip and got endless amounts of cake to celebrate the day. They are so proud of their history and culture it is just contagious to be around. This trip not only filled me with so much knowledge to bring back to my classroom, it also surrounded me with the greatest people I’ve ever met.

BBT is a place to travel with like minded teachers. I came into this trip not knowing anyone, and left with 20 new friends. It is such an added bonus of the trip itself to come home knowing I have new individuals to reach out to for anything school related, but also as new friends with common interests. It was the BEST Professional Development I have ever been a part of and I can’t wait to take my next adventure with BBT and my new teacher friends!
