Inner workings of BBT

As I was sitting in a zoom call about my trip to Egypt, Ken mentioned he was going to Greece to plan out a BBT trip and invited any of us to join and of course I had to jump on board! This was not only a chance to see an AMAZING country, I was able to get a “behind the scenes” look at how a BBT trip is planned and set up. 

The country of Greece itself surrounds you with its deep history and beauty. I was constantly reminding myself it was real life and everything I was seeing was real. I am so passionate about history and this place filled me with knowledge that I will be able to bring back to my students. From the birth of democracy to the blue waters off the coast of Santorini, there is so much to see in Greece.

Seeing how this company plans a trip was also such an eye opening experience. So much hard work goes into making sure BBT brings the best experience to the teachers who travel with them. Ken finds the best tour companies to work with a group of teachers, he takes time to plan for the best sites as well as creating fun! After seeing him and everything that goes into a BBT trip, I can’t wait to continue my travels with them!
