Shaunda Wasik is an elementary teacher in Minnesota. In her eight years as an educator, she has experience teaching in second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. She has learned that fostering a positive learning environment is the most important aspect of a classroom, no matter the grade. Shaunda holds her masters degree in reading and has been trained in a variety of Social Emotional Learning programs. She uses these strategies daily in her classroom to provide a safe and welcoming place for her students to learn.
In the last few years, Shaunda has used social media to share classroom ideas and her knowledge of SEL with other teachers. Due to her love of travel, Shaunda joined BBT Edventures and has traveled with them to Australia and New Zealand. She can’t wait to continue exploring and learning about education all around the world!
