Rianna has been an educator for seven years. She studied a Bachelor of Primary Education as a Dean’s Scholar, and completed one of her subjects at Michigan State University in 2016.
She began her career in 2019 as a Teach Rural Scholar in Central West New South Wales. In her second year of teaching, she was nominated for Early Career Teacher of the Year, and was the only state finalist from a public school. She was also recognized with a World Teachers Award for her dedication to supporting educators globally through social media platforms.
In 2022, Rianna authored and published a children’s picture book, which became a #1 Amazon bestseller within 24 hours of release.
In 2023, she joined the Travel Corporation, where she received specialized training to lead and manage organized tours across Europe. Alongside her travel career, Rianna continued to work as a substitute teacher in schools.
During the summer of 2024, Rianna travelled to Indonesia, where she taught at various schools on the island of Lembongan, and had the opportunity to facilitate a professional development workshop for local teachers.
She subsequently returned to Europe to specialize in leading tours throughout Scandinavia and the Baltics. Through her role as a guide, Rianna has travelled to 35 countries.
In 2024, Rianna was awarded Social Media Content Creator of the Year for her company and earned the prestigious title of Tour Radar’s Guide of the Year.
To close out the year, Rianna published the sequel to her debut bestseller and was offered a position at one of Australia’s oldest independent schools.
In 2025, Rianna will return to teaching, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her guiding role, while continuing to share her passion for global exploration and further developing her teaching expertise.
