Mike Soskil, a Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year and Global Teacher Prize Finalist, is the only American to play for the St. Mary’s Cricket Club in Felixstowe, England. He has been recognized as one of the best teachers in the world by Dr. Stephen Hawking, named an honorary chief of a rural village in Kenya, and visited 41 US National Parks. When Mike is your group leader you can count on him finding unique travel opportunities, connections with global teachers, and getting the fullest experience from any location. He loves both incredible natural landscapes and authentic cultural experiences. When not leading trips for BBT, Mike usually travels with his wife Lori, who is also an award-winning HS Biology teacher, and his two adult children, Abigail and Michael.
