Kim has been an educator for 20 years, teaching both third and fifth grade. She currently teaches fifth grade math, social studies, and science. Kim is excited to be part of the Bookbag Tours and has led four trips with BBT and has also traveled on two trips. She loves meeting teachers from across the country, sharing stories, learning from each other, and, of course, having a little fun along the way!
When not in her classroom, Kim is a professor at Reach University, where she is in her fifth semester teaching future educators. She enjoys being able to learn from and share ideas with teachers at every stage of their careers. Kim is also a proud mom of three college graduates. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find her planning her next adventure, exploring somewhere new, playing pickleball, reading, or enjoying time outdoors. She is equally happy at the beach or in the mountains and is always up for a new place to explore. Kim loves that BookBag Tours combines two things she is passionate about: travel and education.
