Kayla Henton is a science and social studies teacher in Texas. She currently holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports and Recreation Management from Texas A&M-Commerce. After spending a year substituting, she quickly realized that education was something that she had grown fond of and pursued an alternative certification to become a teacher. Kayla has since coached sports and taught in both secondary and elementary levels. She has traveled to over half of the U.S states and multiple countries. BBT has really helped Kayla to make worldly connections with educators and allowed her to check off items on her bucket list. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, buying plants, and exploring outdoors.
