Jennifer Weibert has been in science education for 25 years and is an internationally recognized expert in teaching with science notebooks. She has trained educators across the U.S. and in international schools around the world—helping teachers bring inquiry-based learning and authentic scientific thinking into their classrooms.

Jennifer taught junior high science for many years before moving into a district-level science leadership role. She also teaches science methods courses as an adjunct professor at two universities, where she supports future educators in building strong, student-centered science instruction.

In 2020, she founded Weibert Science, a platform dedicated to helping teachers transform their science instruction through notebooking and better note-taking strategies.

A passionate traveler with a degree in Biology and a masters in Educational Leadership from Fresno State, Jennifer has explored 23 countries (and counting!), and has a special love for penguins, fungi, and her two dachshunds. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, and chasing unique science moments around the world.

“I’m excited to lead because I’ve seen firsthand how one trip abroad can change your life. Every teacher deserves the chance to experience that kind of transformation.”
