I am an expat from Washington, D.C., and I have been blessed to live and work as an International guide in Italy for the past 25 years. In 2007, I founded CMC World Travel to share my passion for this beautiful country with global travelers. After falling in love with Rome, I decided to make it my home, building a house on the outskirts that captures the look and feel of Tuscany.

Rome was the first city I mastered. My time in the Eternal City has provided me with incredible experiences, including teaching an English Master’s program at the University of European Tourism (UET), located just outside the Vatican walls. I deeply enjoyed working with the students and experiencing their contagious energy.

As an International Driver Guide, my experience spans across all of Italy’s regions. My areas of expertise include the hillside medieval towns nestled within the Apennine Mountains. During my tours, I share Italy’s rich history and ensure you experience the local monuments, iconic art, and historical culture firsthand.

My guiding philosophy is centered on providing a true Italian experience. This includes embracing the Slow Food Movement—often called “zero kilometer” touring—which highlights locally prepared food. My tours will introduce you to fresh cheeses, award-winning wines, truffle pasta, and authentic limoncello in Sorrento after a day exploring Pompeii.

Additionally, I specialize in guiding children and travelers with disabilities. I welcome every opportunity to help individuals visit places they thought they might never reach, ensuring that everyone can fully experience the joy of travel.

With over 25 years of experience in the touring industry, including previous roles at Vacations.com and Expedia Global Brands, I look forward to helping you book your next special excursion. As the saying goes, travel is the one thing you buy that makes you richer.
