Description

In summer 2020, visit one of the most varied and charming countries in Europe. Germany is host to vibrant cities and medieval towns, a robust culture and gorgeous rural countryside. Set in the heart of Europe, a world of wonder awaits — from the sky-scraping peaks of the Bavarian Alps to the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle (think Disney!). We will be visiting Gelnhaussen, Frankfurt, Munich and Leipzig!

Itinerary

During the Summer of 2020, travel to Leipzig, Germany. Visit great schools and explore the area as a local. Travel to the Bavarian region and enjoy the local sites and cuisine. Please note that itineraries and schools are subject to change because of school events, school leadership changes, etc.... We will keep you updated when there is a change.

June 13th - Arrive Frankfurt and head to Gelnhaussen!

June 14th - Free morning then to Leipzig

Welcome Reception in Leipzig

Free morning in Frankfurt and afternoon train to Leipzig

Become Acclimated with surrounding area and public transportation (with our leaders)

day 2

June 15th - Day trip to Dresden

Day trip to Dresden - We will do a walking tour through the historical center which includes the Zwinger (former summer residence of aristocratic and now hosting world famous museums), Frauenkirche (important church), Opera, etc. Afterwards you can spend the afternoon either visiting certain museum, doing a walk at the riverside or experience the young and alternative part of the city.
